The kids are thrilled with summer....just as mom has to start school.
My mother has been hounding me about letting the kids come stay with her, so I thought, "why not?"
She lives about 8 hours away, and the drive is reasonable on my days off work. So, I agreed. The kids will be gone for two weeks to my mother's house.
A few days after they get back, their other grandparents from Florida are taking them camping for a week.
I figured this would be a huge opportunity to get myself into the swing of things for college without having to worry about the kids as much.
So, I went the other day to buy school supplies.
I felt very much like a little kid going with my mom to get pencils and a Trapper-keeper for school...except there was no mom there telling me I could not get the "cool" pencils, that the yellow #2 pencils would work just fine. OK, so maybe I should have had a little more restraint...bit I didn't.
Soooooo....
Ta-da!!!!
Yup, that's right folks! I bought a turtle! It's my new USB flash drive!

When I posted this picture on facebook, I had a friend ask if it came with bug eyes. LOL
It's my "excited" look! Don't hate! I know ya'll are jealous! :)
