Easter

Well, it's a little over a week before Easter. I just love holidays! We started the Easter eggs yesterday. Every year we make confetti eggs. We take the eggs, make a nickle-size whole in one end, empty it out, rinse it out, then dye them. Those are the steps we finished yesterday. Next, we will fill them about half way with confetti, cover the whole with a piece of tissue paper....and wah-la! Confetti Eggs! They do tend to take a little bit longer than normal Easter eggs...but so worth it! When we do "the hunt", the kids find the eggs, then use them as bombs. You want to make sure you split the younger kids up from older kids for obvious reasons : /

The other task we have right now is trying to find a dress for my older daughter that does not make her look like a hoochie! My daughter loves the down-to-the-floor styles anyways, but would be willing to have a shorter dress for Easter if we could find one. All the stores we checked out yesterday have the "in-style" super short dresses. Even IF she was willing to wear something THAT short, I would have to say no. The whole thing is very discouraging...My younger daughter was much easier! We went to one store that had a massive variety of dresses, had her pick 5, try them on, then choose one! Done!

More to come on both the eggs and the dresses, and I will post pics in a few days as well!
