Wow! What a day!
First of all, UPDATE!...
A few days ago, I acquired a very old, new car <---(aka-cheap)
Sooooo....back to my day...
Lola had a Dr's appointment this morning at 7:45.
Ugh. I have no clue why I do this to myself.
Run, run, run, rush, rush, rush...
Out the door with 9 minutes to get there. Kids are tired, but good sports...we made it!!!!
Whew! Only 3 minutes late!
..............................
Only to be told the appointment is NEXT week.
Bahahahahahahaha!
Kids were not laughing. I told them it was just a drill for next week. They did awesome! I have complete faith in them for next time!

We left there and went to the gas station. I (completely oblivious to what is about to happen) go into the gas station, pay, come out and get into the car. Put the key in, and IT WON"T TURN! The ignition was locked, steering column was locked, gear shift was locked. Tried, and tried to no avail.
AAAAGGGHHH!!!
(See? You thought I was all excited bragging about my shiny new car, didn't you???)
Call Mr. Man.
Ask him to help me Google it.
He informs me how funny the situation is...WRONG. THING. TO. SAY.
Get off the phone with him, because all I get from him is "just wiggle the key".
Go to call a repair man down the road, but decide before I do that I will try the key
one more time...it started.
WHAT???
I instantly look around, entirely suspicious of every one around me. Is this a hidden camera show?
Our little adventure continues onto the dealership the car is from and ask the dealer about what happened.
Another laugh! Really People! What about this is so funny!?
I am informed (a little to late for my taste) that it was JUST a security feature on the car.
FOR WHAT? For the OWNER to drive it????
Deep breaths...count to 10 or 10,000...whatever works.
The rest of the day has been wonderful. Stopped at the store, made it to my lunch date (only 5 minutes late).
Now I'm home. Scared to go outside into the big, bad world.
