"Chick" Pretzels

      

Awwwww...

Want to make some sweet and salty pretzel chicks?

STEP 1: Buy...

                 1 bag of square pretzels

                 1 bag of yellow chocolate disk (I found these at    

                    Michael's)

                 1 tube black gel (baking area)

                 orange jelly beans (I found these at a store that sells

                     different color Jelly Bellies...I originally thought I 

                     would pick all the orange jelly beans out of the

                     bags I bought for Easter...that lasted for about ten 

                     beans, but if ya'll have the patience for that, have 

                     at it! ;)

STEP 2:Lay out the pretzels in a single layer, with none 

                overlapping. Heat oven to 350*.

STEP3: Lay one yellow disk on each pretzel, put in heated 

                oven for 1-2 minutes. Yes, I said 1-2 minutes.

STEP4: As soon as they are pulled out of the oven, put one

               jelly bean on each pretzel (about in the middle)

STEP5: Once the chocolate cools, add eyes, and WA~LAH!

                                             CHICKS!

The girls and I actually debated for a while if we should put the eyes on or not. We thought without the eyes, the pretzels looked like they had little "sunny-side up" eggs on them!lol

.....as you can see, the eyes won!
