A few days ago, I found this blog ^, and she had mailed Easter eggs! What? You can do that??? So, the sceptic that I am, really, really, really wanted to do this, I just wasn't sure if it would actually work. IT DID! I did not have my camera with me (now I wish I had taken it). I had found an egg about the size of the one pictured, but it was clear on one half and pink on the other. Put some goodies in it, taped an address to it (and taped it closed...I really don't know if they will ever get it open lol) and took it to the post office. When I set it on the counter, the man just looked at it for a second, then his face lit up and he started laughing! "That is so neat!" he said, and started showing the ladies working with him...I guess they had not seen one of these before either!
I was almost embarrassed taking this into the post office, because I really thought they were not going to take it, now that I know they will....next year, EVERYONE I KNOW WILL GET ONE!!!! lol Who wouldn't like to open the mailbox and see an egg in it???
This was a lot of fun...now I have to wait a whole year to do it again :(
